Dr. McMullen was born in Temple, Texas but lived in Waco until age 13. He attended high school in Athens, Texas, graduating third in his class. Attending Southwestern University on a baseball
scholarship, he majored in pre-med. He transferred to McLennan Community College in Waco and in 1976 began his chiropractic education and training at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas.
He graduated in May 1980.
In August 1980, he entered a group practice here in Waco. Eight years later he began his private practice.

McLennan County Chiropractic Association - President Texas Chiropractic Association American Chiropractic Association Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research
He is an approved Texas Worker's Compensation Commission treating doctor.

Family:
He and his wife, Karen, have four children, Christopher, Matthew, Tara and Ashton. Dr. McMullen is a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church and serves as
an assistant Boy Scout leader for Troop 436. He participates in triathlons and 100 mile bike races as well as enjoys playing golf. His most cherished activities involves those he does with his children.
